Diving is a hobby for most people, but it's been a lifelong career for JD. From a college degree in Underwater Technology, to working in commercial diving, to running, then owning, one of the longest running dive businesses in the US, JD has excelled in that barefoot, board shorts lifestyle and turned it into a thriving business.
He's a believer that you can build a good life by finding what you love and calling it work. He's certified over 5,000 people, led over 75 dive trips around the world, and has over 10,000 dives. Not a bad way to live that 9-5.
